In many instances the small business owners were still nine to five employees at the time he first met them. Needless to say that most employees were very dissatisfied with their lot … they felt they were not remunerated enough for their efforts, they were not in control of how they spent their time; in fact they were enslaved to their employers. The saddest thing of all is that some of them had all the necessary skills to apply in their own businesses, but were so scared to start-up on their own and would rather be contented with the “security” of getting a salary from their bosses, month-in and month-out.
